Aside from the amazing array of animals and keeper tours at Port Lympne, there’s always loads going on to get involved with, from after-hours tours to extra events. Check out some of the biggest things happening at the park across the year…

Dusk Safaris
Take a journey through Kent’s very own savannah as the sun sets over the plains for an enchanting experience. Held throughout the summer months, on the Dusk Safari you’ll get to see the animals in an entirely new light as they settle down for the evening, before indulging in a three-course meal at the Port Lympne Hotel.

Summer Fun
Keep kids occupied during the holidays with our six weeks of special events just for summer. There’ll be themed animal weekends to get involved with that will focus on a different species each week, as well as competitions and prizes to be won. As well as our usual educational talks and tours, there will also be animal themed weekends, where you can discover more about our tigers, lions, rhinos and primates as we celebrate their respective international days and take part in our competition to win prizes.

Annual Members Day
Make the most of being a member with our Annual Members Days, featuring loads of exclusive discounts and limited events. Members can save up to 25% on selected animal encounters and guided safaris, plus there’ll be savings at some of the catering and retail outlets. There’ll also be special behind-the-scenes tours, animal talks and keeper workshops throughout the day just for members.

Dinosaur Forest
Come face-to-face with dinosaurs at this incredible exhibit, the largest of its kind in the UK. Amazingly life-like, kids and adults alike will marvel at the replicas of the mighty T-Rex, spiky Stegosaurus and soaring Pterodactyl. Use the virtual app to make them truly come to life!

You’ll be able to take a look around the beautiful rooms and ceremony spaces of the 4* Port Lympne Hotel, as well as gain expert advice from our dedicated wedding coordinators.
