The Port Lympne Hotel, at Port Lympne Reserve, has been awarded two coveted awards at the hotly contested Kent Wedding Awards 2016.  The popular venue won Wedding Venue of the Year – Something Different, whilst dedicated wedding planner – Sarah Saull, scooped Wedding Planner of the Year.

The winners were announced at a glittering awards ceremony on 10th November 2016 attended by the County’s best wedding service providers.

In 2015, the four star hotel at the heart of Kent’s largest wild animal park, was awarded Venue of the Year at the Kent Wedding Awards.

Bob O’Connor, Managing Director of Port Lympne Reserve said: ‘I am absolutely delighted that the four star Port Lympne Hotel has been recognised again at these prestigious awards and that our dedicated Wedding Planner, Sarah has beaten off stiff competition to be crowned Wedding Planner of the Year 2016.  Our wonderful wedding team here at Port Lympne, work tirelessly to ensure that brides and grooms enjoy their most special day with us and it’s marvellous that this has been recognised again this year by the Kent Wedding Awards.’

The awards, now in their sixth year, celebrate the best of Kent’s wedding professionals and suppliers.

The Port Lympne Hotel, a beautifully refurbished Edwardian Mansion at the heart of the popular wild animal park, offers a unique, romantic setting for weddings. Built in 1912 the hotel is surrounded by 15 acres of landscaped gardens, incorporating water features, colourful borders, romantic terraces and the famous Trojan steps.
